Having your own car in the city means parking, traffic jams and constant attention to the road. When you need to spend time on the road usefully, meet guests at a status level, or simply save yourself from the drudgery of driving, renting a car with a driver is a reasonable solution. Let's figure out how such a rental works, how it differs from taxis and car sharing, and where to arrange it in Yekaterinburg.
What is included in car rental with a driver
Car rental with a driver is not a one-time trip from point A to point B, but a full service in which the client gets a car at their disposal for the chosen period together with a professional driver.
What is usually included in such rental:
The right class of car. From a comfortable sedan for everyday tasks to a premium executive car for status events.
A personal driver. Knows the city, follows the schedule, behaves discreetly and professionally, and keeps conversations in the cabin confidential.
A flexible order format. Rental for several hours, for the whole day, or hourly payment for a specific route — without being tied to one trip, as in taxi.
Transparent pricing. The hourly rate is known in advance and does not change depending on traffic or time of day.
How rental with a driver differs from taxi and carsharing
All three formats solve the task of moving around the city, but in different ways.
Taxi is a one-time trip along a specific route. Taxi is not suitable when you need the car to wait for you at the entrance for several hours in a row or accompany you to several locations during the day.
Carsharing is self-driving a car owned by someone else. The client sits behind the wheel, looks for parking on their own, and is responsible for the road — that is, carsharing does not solve the problem of freeing up time and attention.
Rental with a driver combines the advantages of both formats: the car is fully at the client’s disposal for the needed time, but without the need to drive. This is especially convenient for business trips with several meetings, events with several locations, and any situations where it is important to control not the route, but the time.
When it is worth renting a car with a driver
A business day with several meetings. The car remains at your disposal between meetings; you do not need to call a new car each time.
Receiving guests or partners. An executive car with a driver is a status way to meet and accommodate guests of the city.
Weddings and celebrations. Renting a car for the whole day of the event with a driver who adapts to the event program.
Trips out of town and to neighboring regions. Rental for several hours or for a day for business trips, business visits, or leisure outside the city.
A one-time need for an executive car. When your own car does not match the level of the event or meeting.
